Fun Weekend

Friday was the Big A** Show at Usana Amphitheatre.  I picked Alex up from school around noon and we went up to the hospital to see Nate and Nancy's brand new baby.  It was a lot of fun.  After the visit we decided to go to the Capitol building, since I've never been there.  It's a really cool building.  Alex had a hole in her shirt so we went to Walmart to get her a new shirt before the concert.
The show started at 3:00 but we didn't get out there until around 5:00 because that's when the bands we wanted to see started playing.  We saw Medina Lake, Escape The Fate, Airborne Toxic Event, Alkaline Trio, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Unwritten Law, and The Offspring.  It was very amazing.  It finally got over at about 10:45.  We forgot the camera in the car so the pictures we took were from my phone.  That's why they're a little blurry.  Offspring and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus were the best bands.  Offspring sounded SO good!  And they played a different version of Gone Away with just Dexter and a piano.  It was really awesome.  And the nachos we had at the concert were so good!
On Saturday we helped Nate move and then we went swimming at my parents house.  It was a lot of fun.  We had a dunking war and I won, of course!  Then later we watched Mall Cop.  It was alright.
Overall it was a very fun weekend!  Here are some pictures from the concert and a couple others.

It was a really fun weekend.  And now we can't wait until Warped Tour!  There are some videos we took with our phones, but we need to change the format of the videos before we can post them.  So hopefully we'll put those up soon.

Day to Remember

So, today Jon picked me up from school and we went over to my doctors appointment for my knee. Therapy hasn't been helping at all so I had to go back to my doctor. After re-examining my knee he came to the conclusion that I need surgery. On July 10 I will be having a scope done that should straighten out my knee cap and get rough tissue removed. They're only doing one knee and if this works out well Jon and I will be coming up when I have some vacation from school to get the other one done. Hopefully after this I can walk normally and maybe dance again. Let's hope!
After the doctors appointment we decided swimming sounded like a grand idea. We went to the Draper City Pool, it was so much fun! We then went to a new resturaunt in Draper called NYPD Pizza. It was SOOOOOO good, and thats coming from someone who loves real New York pizza and has tried many kinds in NY. This pizza came straight out of a New York pizza kitchen! Haha.
We also bought tickets for the Big A** Show tomorrow. It's a big concert with a lot of bands put on by X96, and The Offspring are playing so of course we are going! Haha!
And may I just add, Jon is such a gentleman!!!! We have this kinda rule that if he's on my side of the car when we walk out he unlocks my door first, if he's on his side, he gets in and then unlocks my door. Well, walking out of NYPD today he was closest to his door but he came around and unlocked mine first and I said, "You don't need to come over here, you could have just gotten in!" and his reply was, "No, we're on a date!". It made me very happy! He always treats me like a queen! He's perfect!
Hope all is well! Love you guys!

Let's get it started...

So, now that Jon is living with me we have a lot of free time on our hands and we get bored on occasion! We decided it might be fun to create a joint blog and keep everyone updated on our life. I got my hair done tonight, a bit different then I've ever had it, but I like it. :) Jon seems to like it too. School is almost out! Graduation is a week from tomorrow! It's finally happening! I don't really have anything too exciting to say so I will write again when I have a story of some sort! Haha, hope all is well with you all! We love you all!
